Hey folks.

I’m pondering the answer to this title. What should I be saying here? There is so much going on in this brain of mine that I’m trying to utilize. I want to tell this, I can’t say that, and I would certainly love to scream this other thing out. Really, how can I get a little of this done in few enough words so that someone might read it all?

It is true, the attention span is almost nil for almost all the people these days.

It is hard to believe that it’s now 10+ years of having a “Cruise-In” at the Gaston store. We are going to skip a year once again. There are a multitude of reasons. The biggest reason is that construction will soon be underway at the Gaston store for a sizeable expansion. The fence being moved, sitework underway, equipment around the vicinity all lead to, not a good place for a gathering of folks utilizing the entire grounds. Did you catch the last newsletter about the changes at the Manning facility? Did you catch what you just read? Expansion at Gaston is going to give us approximately 4200 more sq. ft. of triple tiered pallet racked warehousing space. It has worked in Manning, and it will work in Gaston. Better product organization, more product availability, better purchasing abilities, and most importantly better service for our customers.

The Mid Eastern people’s workflows continue changing and improving. The challenges of these electronic devices and the systems that run them finally seem to be working out. I am starting to see the light and not thinking it’s the train in the tunnel headed my way. I just this morning received a good glimpse into our web site in process and they are making enormous progress.

We are gearing up internally for next year’s “Cruise-In” and we are thinking about a first for us. Can’t believe I’m saying this, All out SC Mid Eastern TRUCK SHOW! A Save the date exact will be coming before you know it. Going to be early April just after MATS.

There’s tension in the air and it’s everywhere. Don’t turn on the news! I will see some of you in Louisville. MATS and Spring are just around the corner. I love these trucks, but I think I’ve come to a point of maybe being happier about Spring. Just thought that through a bit, it also means soon grass will be growing and there’s all that! That tension, let it go for a bit. You never know what someone else may be going through. Sometimes it affects their driving abilities. Get a smile on your face. When somebody out there does some really crazy stupid off the wall driving stunt, just chuckle to yourself. It may just become pure amazement. I promise it is so much easier than getting your blood pressure all out of whack and it surely doesn’t help anything. Be kind to your neighbors. Cheers! It’s another beautiful day!

All the best!
