Good day all.
Have I been thinking. Life is blistering by. It only takes a short amount of time and so much takes place. This part took a long time, I am getting really old, but the time flew by. With that comes, well everything that comes with it. A few months ago, I fell. Do not try filling in the blanks here, I missed a grab bar getting in a piece of equipment and the deed was done in a flash. Got me a piece of something shy of a #3 rebar inserted to stabilize the breaks and just recently a surgery for removal of the rebar. Such is science. There’s a blessing in everything, at least it wasn’t my good arm. Some of you folks are old, y’all be careful too.
Things roll on. A weather event that is tragic, disruption between people of opposing viewpoints, accidents involving multitudes of mass transit or just one person, wildfire or even economic wildness and guess what? Things roll on. All of these can cause emotional travesty or not, simply depends on your attitude towards it.
Things do keep on. The start was just the other day and yet now it is slipping up on 40 years of Mid Eastern. I wish I could find some of those pictures from the Mid Eastern days along the way. Another patriotic July4th will soon be here. That will be the actual day that marks the forty-year journey. Independence Day! That hardly describes most or any of these days of self-employment. By the way folks, you already know this but there’s not a time or place or situation or even some nano-second that we can exist without others and not slightly the least of which, our creator. Independence! On an individual basis it’s a bit of an oxymoron but it does hold strong meaning when referring to a strong group.
We’ve been through another Mid America Truck Show. We’re traveling the tariff path of business and trying to dodge the missiles along the way. Changes are as always, in abundance and we’re moving on. Mid Eastern is deep in the throes of launching the Walkin’ Joe brand. Be sure to stay tuned and pay close attention! We are working up some Forty-Year specials to coincide with these upcoming announcements. The online website efforts are bearing fruit. Take a look. Just realize that every website out there is constant and continual work in the process and so is ours.
The message(s) here on this WJ day are really straightforward. We’re all getting older and subjected to more things. Be Careful. Summer is here once again and the masses are moving. Be careful. A celebration day is just around the corner. Be Careful. People everywhere are acting out all kinds of foolishness and just acting a fool. Be Careful.
It is wild out there. Be kind to your neighbors and those folks on the road. They all need it!
