Good Day To You Folks.
We do have some Mid Eastern specials running in the mill. I told you it was coming. More later.
Here I am in Louisville KY at MATS again. I think this must be something like number 35 or so. It sure is interesting getting here the day before the fireworks go off to start the show. I’ve never seen any fireworks here. It is a great and valuable time to meet with folks, even interrupting the precious time they have pounding away to get ready in time. Every single one of them, even the best planners that arrive a day ahead, work to the last minute. I am mindful of that. I used to drive a car out here. Then there was a while that I thought flying out here was better. Now I’m old and drive an old RV out here so I have a place close by to get to and rest. It’s also handy as I travel along the journey here and back home.
Side story. Besides the fact that I am watching the folks backed next to me that just arrived back from something. When they closed (slammed) the door shut for the multitude of times in the last hour, it shook me. These people watching is pure fun. OK, you regular readers of my irregular writing need to think back a couple. Do y’all remember Bubba I met down in central GA to do some extreme and highfalutin BBQ cooking with, it was just a short time ago. I’m still in the mode of protecting the innocent. I arrived at something like 12:48AM Wednesday morning to get my resting spot here at MATS and the first vehicle I see all the way out on the end point, there’s Bubba! It turns out that it’s Bubba, his wife Sheela, and that sweet puppy Moonou. Who in their right mind would name a puppy Moonou? Only thing I can imagine is cows. You know Moo cows. These friends are kind of ranch people. They are not exactly from these parts where we call farms, they call it a ranch. They have cows. I just remembered, I made up these names to protect them from me. Back to trucks.
These truck parts displays are more phenomenal than ever. Some folks that I’ve seen for years are not here. Some that I’ve hardly heard of are now here. Some lights change colors and some lights change to whatever color you want. It is sure to be an interesting time and a wonderful time to catch up with those that I only see out here. Maybe I will do another writing soon to reflect on this journey.
The mideastern.com on-line store continues to move along. We have some fabulous specials on a line of seats we sell. Without having anything to allow about any other’s seats, I will say that I feel these are perhaps the greatest value for dollar spent on a truck seat. We’ve been selling this line for several years with over-the-top positive experiences. Regardless, give some thought to your (YOU) selfish well-being. Your health. Your Posture. Your Walk. Your Run. (Children / Grand Children) Your overall Well-being. The seat you ride in mile after mile. Your correct posture and support help to keep you alert and better able to pay attention. All of these contribute to Your Own Safety. We know you need to look cool but we at Mid Eastern want you to be cool!
