What’s Walkin’ Joe Thinking?

    The Holiday Season is soon to be or already is, for most, a thing of the past. A few lingering greetings for renewed conversations or those of long times gone by are still opened with the “Happy New Year” saying. It is a time of new starts, new beginnings, new thinking, new planning, new habits started and old habits broken and the list goes on.

We have a bit of “New” at Mid Eastern as well. Some new people (that we are grateful for and excited for the future with) and new products and some new thinking and a lot of new work on www.MidEastern.com . The truth is with the acceptance that change is one of the few true and real constants in life, there is always New around us everywhere. It’s lurking around every corner. Maybe I will greet someone with Happy New Day soon just for the reaction.

On to some super good stuff. We still have the coldest days of winter ahead of us. It seems that way to me even here in SC. We still have two “Fireside With Walkin’ Joe” fire pits to share. Check out these pictures. Do you know any of these people? Can you write a simple note to say why you might want one of these? This is a bit odd in the giveaway sense of our world today. There’s no buying anything to make you a candidate. There’s no raffle, no drawing, no entry, just a simple but thought-out reasonable request. This is another odd part of this. The goal here for me is that this simple fire pit made from a piece of cold steel might become much greater. If this fire burning gets some folks together that care about each other, maybe re-kindles some brokenness, creates a space where folks might learn something new about each other or even just bring about a place where smiles and laughter become the predominant tone, this will be my success through you. This is and will be “Fireside With Walkin’ Joe” and I’m not even there in person.  Simple stuff.  Just write something or even call me! Most of the best stuff of life and relationships in the end is simple!
