For optimal attachment of buffing wheels and flanges, your buffer or grinder must have a 5/8” – 11 arbor shaft. If your shaft is less than 1” or its length is unknown, consider purchasing our 2" extender kit for sufficient thread and distance from the polisher. This 2" extender is compatible with our Safety Flange Kit (# SFPR58 4) and designed specifically for AIRWAY buffing wheels.
